Since coming to Baird through the 2019 acquisition of Hilliard Lyons, Jaleigh has been the architect to build the new Baird Family Wealth platform. The Baird Family Wealth team works with advisors and their most complex UHNW clients ensuring that all business owners, executives, and multi-generational client families have access to the resources they need to meet their individual goals and navigate major transitions in their lives.

At Hilliard Lyons, Jaleigh was Executive Vice President. She joined the firm in in 2011 and had direct responsibility for Hilliard Lyons Trust Company (now Baird Trust), Wealth and Family Office, Wealth Planning and all investment products and services.

In her prior role at Fifth Third Bank headquarters in Cincinnati, Jaleighwas Managing Director of the Private Bank. In 2009, her team built and launched their family office, Mirador Family Wealth Advisors, with Jaleigh as its inaugural CEO.

Prior to joining the banking industry in the 1990’s, Jaleigh spent over a decade in public accounting. She began her career at Arthur Andersen and later joined Kemper CPA Group where she served as Managing Partner for the Tax Department that served the firm’s 26 offices inIndiana, Illinois, California, and Florida.

Jaleigh is a member of the Integrated Wealth Advisor Council at the Family Office Exchange and is on the Leaders Council of The UHNW Institute.

Corporate board experience includes her current roles on the advisory board of The Oliver Group and Leadership Louisville. Previously, she was on the board of Deaconess Health Systems in Evansville, Indiana. Volunteer experience during her time in Louisville included serving as Treasurer of Actor’s Theatre, Metro United Way Campaign Cabinet and on the board of The Center for Women and Families and Waterfront Development. Prior to moving to Louisville, she was President of the Chamber of Commerce, on the executive committee for The Welborn Foundation and a board member of Tales & Scales and Crimestoppers. Jaleigh is also a member of the International Women’s Forum.
Jaleigh has been actively involved in the AICPA on a national level for over 20 years. She is currently a member of the AICPA Financial Literacy Commission. She served two terms as chair of the investment committee, governing council and was on the nominations committee, employee benefits task force and was a trustee for the Life Insurance Trust. She was also a regular speaker on Equity Compensation issues at the AICPA national conference.
